Apple iPhone just may save the "print" industry

As forward-thinking magazine publisher's jump onto the Apple iPhone bandwagon, they are paving the way for print to seamlessly shift from paper to digital with flair and impact. Conde Nast's has had 230,000 iPhone apps downloaded for free since last August, and 90,000 free apps have been downloaded in the last two months for Lucky Magazine. Hmmm...did someone say "iTunes?!" Yes, Ryan McConville of teen magazine J-14. He thinks iTunes is the next, natural play for print. According to McConville, "If teens are already there's not a stretch to think they could just as easily be buying copies of J-14."
